The Death of the Fisherman and the Lies from Philippine(can this be the title of the story?)
Taiwan and Philippine are far away from US, but since CNN want to do the report. At least, it should be a fair story because the strength of the press could be either tiny or enormous, also because CNN is a professional and neutral media? Am I wrong?

The Truth of the Fisherman's Death and the Lie from Philippine
Why are the Taiwanese so furious about this violent attack?
1. The incident happened in the EEZ OF TAIWAN, NOT in the Philippines territorial sea. Every fishing ship in Taiwan has a gas calculation which will record how far the ship goes and where the ship has been. It is recorded by GPS system. Therefore, according to the science investigation, the "black box" indicates that the captain did not fish in the Philippines territorial sea.
by the way, The Philippines government claims that they have the video. We Taiwan really want to watch it, but they refuse.

(Note: A nation’s territorial waters extend at most 12 nautical miles but its EEZ (exclusive economic zone) extends 200 nautical miles. As the Taiwanese fishing boat’s activity was limited within Taiwan’s EEZ, the Philippine government had no right to force it to leave. The temporary enforcement line of Taiwan is set by Taiwan to avoid armed-armed engagement between the two countries, but that does not mean Taiwan has restricted its own EEZ to the temporary enforcement line. Again, the EEZ of Taiwan is marked by the red R.O.C EEZ line. )

2. Philippine coast guard chased and HUNTED for the UNARMED Taiwan fishing boat for an hour,
leaving the boat with at least 45 bullet holes, most of which are concentrated at the cabin .
The fact shows that the shots fired were aimed to MURDER those Taiwanese crew members, who
were hiding in the captain control cabin.
However, the Philippine National Government claimed that this attack is "unintentional" ,
using the word "regret" instead of a formal apology.

There was the other fishing ship around (closer to Taiwan). After shooting Hong's fishing ship, The coast guard vessel started to chase the other ship for "FOUR" hours. The captain said no matter where they drove, the guard vessel just did not let them go.

Under the situation, "unintentional" is another lie.

3. The accusation that Taiwan's fishing boat rammed the vessel of the Philippine Coast Guard
so they are forced to open fire is totally unfounded.

How can the 15-ton fishing boat made of fiberglassglass fiber try to ram the iron-made vessel of the Philipppine Coast Guard?

The science investigation indicates that there are no marks indicating any collision on the surface of Taiwan's boat. Moreover, Ballistic evidence already showed the shots were fired FROM BEHIND, not from the front.

4. The attitude of Philippine Officials towards this incident is frivolous and perfunctory!

5. The Philippine Government refused to apologize in public. Regarding their current investigation results, it implies that it was all our fisherman's fault. But, it was, is and will be not the truth. Their representative came to Taiwan, but he was not allowed to meet the minister or the Hong Family because apologizing in private means nothing.
The representative proposed the makeup fee, which will be the people's donation from Philippine. That did not fit the Hong family and Taiwan Government's conditions. Therefore, the representative just left without meeting anyone. We waited until Monday afternoon, but here comes nothing. Then, Taiwan started our move.

The action of the Philippine National Government is inhumane and without justice.
Until today the President of the Philippines STILL HASN'T issued
an apology to Taiwan in any formal public occasions.
The Philippines government doesn't admit the mistake in their report.
In this report they even use such words like "bad guys" to describe the innocent victims.
How can it be Taiwan's fault?

English is not our official language, but truth exists in a clear and careful story research and a fair and balanced report, doesn't it?

Best Wishes,
